Presentation Synopsis: You are sent to a female patient off a motorcycle. On arrival, she has a GCS 3, agonal respirations and a central pulse of 130bpm. What do you do next? Chris Wiid will discuss this patient and what he did. Join him for a discussion of prehospital management of severe blunt trauma.

Bio: Chris Wiid has been involved in the prehospital emergency environment since he was 16 years old. He became the youngest qualified Critical Care Paramedic in South Africa at age 22. Since then he has worked in Africa, Middle East and Asia. However, the highlight has been working with ACT Ambulance since 2009 where he is passionate about airway management and progressing paramedicine.
