The College is calling for Expression of Interest (EOI) from students to be part of organising committees for our state based Student Conferences in March and April 2019.
The College will be running three Student Conferences in conjunction with our University Challenge events in QLD, VIC and NSW.

9am to 12noon – University Challenge
1pm to 5:30pm – Student Conference
5:30 to 7pm – Networking and social drinks
More details on the Student Conferences and University Challenge will be available in November.
The College is looking for 6 to 10 students on each organising committee (NSW, QLD, VIC) with at least one representatives from each university in those states.
The Organising Committee will:
- Work in consultation with College staff and Education Committee to identify, approach and organise relevant presenters for the Student Conference in their state.
- Have input into the conference program ensuring it meets the needs of student paramedics.
- Engage their university lecturers and cohort of students with the State Conference.
- Take a lead in helping deliver the conference on the day, covering things such as set up and pack up, registration, directing delegates, audio visual, social media, presenter liaison and networking.
This is a great opportunity to deliver a fantastic event for your peers and have something defining to put on your CV.
As an Organising Committee member you will also get the benefit of FREE student registration to attend the conference and volunteer polo shirt to wear for the event. Note: your travel to and from the conference, accommodation and any other costs are your own responsibility.
EOI close at 5pm on Monday 12th November 2018, with successful students advised shortly after.
