The University of Sydney is offering two Prehospital & Retrieval Medicine units of study from the Master of Medicine (Critical Care Medicine) as a stand alone Certificate and are now open to paramedics as well as physicians.
The Master of Medicine (Critical Care Medicine) at the University of Sydney is in its 6th year and has proved to be a very popular and well regarded degree program.
Dr Cliff Reid has been involved in the development and delivery of the 2 units of study in retrieval medicine. These units cover the operational and clinical elements of practice and each unit of study includes a 2 day face to face workshop at the NSW Ambulance Aeromedical bases at Bankstown.

Paramedics who hold a health or science undergraduate degree are able to undertake these units, with a Certificate of Completion awarded on successful completion.
