College submission to the NZ Mental Health and Addiction Inquiry

The College provided a submission into the NZ Government Inquiry into Mental Health and Addiction. The Inquiry panel recently handed over their report to the Minister of Health the Honourable Dr David Clark, He Ara Oranga: Report of the Government Mental Health and Addiction Inquiry, which has been released this week.

The paramedic profession has an important role to play in the setting of public health policy in Australia and New Zealand, with paramedics playing a key role in the delivery of health care, not just emergency care.
