ANZCP Research Grants

The College is committed to enabling the development of discipline-specific knowledge through support of members undertaking research within a recognised research centre or as a student enrolled in an honours or postgraduate program of research at a university. Established researchers are also invited to apply for this grant.

The development of knowledge that informs clinical practice, health service delivery or paramedic education is critical to the development of the profession. Well designed and executed research will provide the basis for evidence-based practice, particularly in areas where knowledge is lacking or incomplete.

Although universities and research centres have an obligation to provide appropriate supervision, statistical support and infrastructure required to undertake research, the College recognises that there are also additional costs associated with the research that may be eligible for a research grant of up to $4000. There will be two funding rounds each year, with applications closing 31 January and 31 July each year.
